Addison Dephillip

Addison is a filmmaker located in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated in May of 2025 with a B.A. in Cinema from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

Addison enjoys making films depicting complex female experiences and relationships. She frequently blends genres, her favorites include comedy, horror, and drama. 

Creative Experience
Addison started out as a playwright and theatre director, and discovered the beauty of filmmaking in 2020. She instantly fell in love with the movement of the camera, mise-en-scene, and editorial styles. 

Since then, she's created eight short films, with budgets ranging from $0-$6,000, written countless scripts, and collaborated with other filmmakers on their original works in production, art, and camera departments.
